Profile: Rachael Burford

Rachael Burford is one of the most successful & accomplished female rugby union & 7's players in England & Internationally. 

Starting her playing days at Medway RFC, Rachael is enjoying a glittering professional career. Having taken part in the Rugby 7's World Cups in 2009 & 2013 she captained the side to two invitational tournaments in Las Vegas & Vancouver ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

In Rugby Union, Rachael was part of the side in the 2010 World Cup before enjoying one of her most successful years in 2014 when she was named England Player of the Year & a member of the side that lifted the World Cup trophy.

Rachael, who was the first female professional player on the RPA Board, has since has earned 60 caps for England, and runs her own Rugby Academy.
