Chocolate Granola

Australian hockey player Georgia shared with us, this incredible recipe for some naughty (but healthy) chocolate granola...


  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup buckwheat grouts
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup cacao nibs
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Combine all the dry ingredients in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the wet ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and toss to coat thoroughly. Spread the granola evenly on a tray lined with baking paper and bake for around 20 minutes, turning occasionally until crunchy.

Store in there cupboard in an airtight jar or container.
