Vegan Energy Balls

Blogger & England Touch Rugby player Jon came down to the kitchen to whip-up some super quick, and super tasty vegan energy balls. Touch rugby is a super fast game on a par with Rugby Sevens, so quick, light, energy bites are crucial during & after a game. Watch Jon make these himself on our Youtube channel here.


  • 150g of blanched almonds
  • 1 cup of dried apricots
  • 5 medjool dates
  • Zest of ½ a lemon
  • 1 tbsp. of desiccated coconut
  • 1tbsp. of manuka honey
  • 1 tsp. of baobab (optional)


  • Add all the ingredients into a blender, and blend thoroughly until mixed & sticky.
  • In the palm of your hand, take a small amount of the mix and roll into golf-ball sized balls.
  • Serve
